Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival – Cusco City Tour

Upon arrival, our team will be waiting for you at Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport to transfer you to your hotel. Cusco is located at 3,400 m (11,200 ft). We recommend resting for a few hours and enjoying a traditional cup of coca tea to help with acclimatization.

In the afternoon (approx. 12:30 PM), we will begin the Cusco City Tour. We will explore the impressive Qorikancha temple (Temple of the Sun), one of the most important sites of the Inca Empire. Then we head outside the city to visit the imposing Sacsayhuaman fortress, known for its gigantic perfectly fitted stone blocks. Continue to Qenqo, a fascinating ceremonial center carved in limestone, and finish at Tambomachay, famous for its water fountains and ceremonial importance.

We return to Cusco around 6:30 PM. You can enjoy a pleasant walk through the historic center or an exquisite dinner. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 2 Super Sacred Valley – Aguas Calientes

Around 7:00 AM, we pick you up from your hotel for the Super Sacred Valley Tour. First stop: Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village known for its living traditions and ancestral textile art. Continue to Moray, an impressive archaeological site with circular terraces used for agricultural experiments. Then visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular set of thousands of salt ponds on the mountainside.

Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba surrounded by stunning landscapes. In the afternoon, explore the majestic Ollantaytambo fortress, known as the "Living Inca City" because it still preserves much of its original urban planning. After the visit, board the train to Aguas Calientes (approx. 1h45min panoramic journey). Upon arrival, hotel staff will assist you. In the evening, your guide will provide instructions for the Machu Picchu visit. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 3 Machu Picchu Tour – Return to Cusco

Early morning, we head to the bus station to board the transport that will take us to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu (30-minute ride). Your professional guide will lead a fascinating 2-hour guided tour (Circuit 2, subject to availability), exploring the most emblematic and mysterious sectors of this world wonder, discovering its history, architecture, and ancestral legacy.

After the visit, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a delicious tourist lunch at one of our selected restaurants. In the afternoon, according to your train schedule, board the return service to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our representative will be waiting with a personalized sign to provide the final transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 4 Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca)

Very early in the morning, we will pick you up to begin the exciting adventure to the stunning Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). We travel approx. 2 hours to the community of Cusipata for a delicious breakfast. Then continue 1 more hour through spectacular Andean landscapes surrounded by mountains, canyons, and majestic glaciers until reaching the base camp at K'ayahuire.

The hike takes approximately 1 hour through beautiful natural scenery where you can observe llamas and alpacas grazing freely, accompanied by their herders in colorful traditional Andean clothing. Upon reaching the summit, you will stand at the spectacular Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft), one of Peru's most impressive landscapes. Free time to rest, take photos, and admire panoramic views including the imposing Ausangate snow-capped peak.

After this unique experience, return by the same route to our transport, head back to Cusipata for a delicious buffet lunch, then return to Cusco, ending at the historic center or your hotel (if private service). Overnight in Cusco.

Day 5 Cusco – Airport Transfer

According to your flight schedule, our team will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you by private transport to Cusco Airport. Upon your arrival, our service concludes.
