Upon arrival in Lima, our team will cordially welcome you at the airport and transfer you comfortably to your hotel. In the afternoon, we begin a fascinating tour of the Peruvian capital, visiting the modern districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, famous for their elegant avenues, beautiful parks, and spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. During the tour, we will visit the historic San Francisco Convent and its mysterious Catacombs, one of Lima's most emblematic places.
Continue to the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will admire colonial architecture, traditional balconies, and historic monuments. Visit the Plaza Mayor, the historic heart of the city, and the iconic Plaza San Martín. After the tour, return to the hotel. Overnight in Lima.
Early morning (4:30-5:00 AM), we pick you up from your hotel in Lima for a day full of adventure, nature, and unforgettable landscapes. First stop: Paracas National Reserve, where we board a boat for approximately two hours to tour the Ballestas Islands. During the tour, admire the famous Paracas Candelabra and enjoy wildlife: pelicans, sea lions, boobies, and Humboldt penguins.
After this adventure, visit a traditional vineyard and winery in the Ica Valley, where you will learn about the artisanal process of wine and pisco making, followed by a tasting and a delicious lunch. Continue to the enchanting Huacachina Oasis, where you will experience adrenaline-filled buggy rides and sandboarding on massive dunes. At the end of the day, return to Lima. Overnight in Lima.
Early transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Rest time for acclimatization. In the afternoon (around 12:30 PM), we begin the Cusco City Tour. Start with the impressive Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), the most important religious site of the Inca Empire.
Continue to the impressive archaeological complexes surrounding the city: Sacsayhuaman fortress, Q'enqo (ancient ceremonial center carved in limestone), Puca Pucara (military fortress), and Tambomachay (known as the "Inca Bath" for its ceremonial water channels). We begin with Chinchero, known as the "land of the rainbow," famous for its living ancestral traditions and textile legacy. Continue to Moray, an impressive archaeological complex of circular terraces that functioned as an agricultural experimentation center. Then visit the famous Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular ensemble of thousands of salt ponds.
Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley. In the afternoon, visit Ollantaytambo, the "Living Inca City," exploring its majestic archaeological complex built to protect the valley. Finally, board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes (approx. 1h45min). Upon arrival, our representative will accompany you to your hotel. Today we discover the majestic lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. At the scheduled time, your guide will accompany you to the bus station for a 30-minute ride to the citadel entrance. After entry control, we begin an enriching 2-hour guided tour, exploring the most representative sectors of this archaeological wonder, revealing the greatness, history, and legacy of the Inca civilization.
After the visit, descend by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a delicious tourist lunch at one of our selected restaurants. In the afternoon, board the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our representative will be waiting with a sign with your name for the transfer back to Cusco, ending near the main plaza or at your hotel (if private option selected). Very early in the morning, we begin our adventure to the stunning Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of the most spectacular natural landscapes in Cusco. Travel through beautiful high-Andean landscapes, crossing small local communities and vast pampas where you can observe llamas and alpacas in their natural habitat.
After enjoying breakfast along the way, continue to the starting point of the hike. The trek is at high altitude, so we will proceed slowly and be accompanied at all times by our guide. Upon reaching the main viewpoint of Vinicunca, you will have time to rest, contemplate the incredible multi-colored formation of the mountain, and capture unforgettable photographs. After the visit, begin the descent, enjoy lunch, and return to Cusco. Overnight in Cusco.
