Introduction: A Guinness Record in the Heart of Lima
The Magic Water Circuit, located in the Park of the Reserve, is one of the most impressive and visited attractions in Lima. Inaugurated in 2007, this theme park holds the Guinness World Record as the largest water fountain complex in the world located in a public park. With 13 interactive fountains illuminated by LED lights and lasers, it's a spectacle of light, sound, and water that captivates both children and adults.
"The Magic Water Circuit is not just a park, it's a sensory experience where water becomes art and the Lima night fills with magic and color."
1. The Magic Fountain: The heart of the circuit
Upon entering the park, the first thing that welcomes you is the imposing Magic Fountain. With a 35-meter-long water tunnel, visitors can walk under it while the water forms perfect arches that allow you to pass without getting wet. It's the favorite spot for photos and the main meeting point. At night, a multimedia show projects images onto a water curtain, creating a unique visual effect in Lima.
2. Interactive fountains: Water also plays
The park is designed for interaction, and several of its fountains invite visitors to be part of the show.
Fountain of Dreams
This is the main fountain where the central shows take place. With capacity for more than 4,000 spectators, it combines water, music, laser lights, and video projections. The nightly show is unmissable: water choreographies synchronized with Peruvian music and international classics that get the whole family moving. Show times are generally at 7:15 pm, 8:15 pm, and 9:30 pm.
Fountain of Fantasy
Ideal for the little ones (and not so little). This fountain has water jets that emerge from the ground intermittently, creating an interactive game where children run and jump to avoid getting wet. It's one of the happiest and noisiest areas of the park, full of laughter and fun under the watchful eye of parents.
3. Tunnel of Surprises Fountain
Another of the most emblematic fountains is the Tunnel of Surprises. Unlike the Magic Fountain, this tunnel is longer and its water arches change intensity, challenging visitors to cross it without getting wet. It's a fun and refreshing experience, especially on warm Lima nights. At the end of the tunnel, you'll find the Fountain of Life, a beautiful illuminated waterfall.
Remember that the Magic Water Circuit is open from Wednesday to Sunday, including holidays, from 3:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Admission has a modest cost and children under 5 enter for free. Wear comfortable clothes, bring your camera, and prepare for a magical night in Lima. Without a doubt, it's a family plan you can't miss and that will show you that the Peruvian capital also has corners full of charm and innovation.
